The loop can be deactivated by unchecking the <img decoding=\"async\" width=\"25\" height=\"25\" class=\"wp-image-641\" style=\"width: 25px;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.julien-nevo.com\/arkostracker\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/instrumentEditorLooping.png\" alt=\"\">&nbsp;icon, but the End parameter remains active in this case: it is possible to have a large sample but only plays a subset of it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The&nbsp;gain&nbsp;is a handy feature: very often, you will notice that our poor dynamic-less hardware struggle to reproduce soft samples. They need a boost. You can do this with your favorite WAV editor, but but tweaking the volume ratio, the volume is changed in real-time. This is a non-destructive operation: the sample is not modified so it&#8217;s easy to reduce the volume if the modified value is wrong.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The diginote is an important feature if you use samples in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.julien-nevo.com\/arkostracker\/index.php\/the-pattern-viewer#events\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">event tracks<\/a>. Also, check <a href=\"https:\/\/www.julien-nevo.com\/arkostracker\/index.php\/samples#diginote\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"2575\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">this page<\/a> for important technicalities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For the moment, there is no possibility to edit the sample (cut, trim, etc.).
