Looking for tunes…

Hi!
Sorry if this off topic. If it too much off topic – I don’t mind deleting this message.

I am currently involved in a project that intends to “port a couple of games” to the vectrex.

(Linux -> vectrex)
The original music files can not be played on the vectrex since the setup is totally different.
So I am looking basically for a couple of “free” ym files (or Arkos Tracker I or II) music pieces that I could use as “new” background music.

Obviously there are thousands of YM files lying around – but I don’t want to get mixed up in some copyright issue. Musicians certainly will be credited, but I cannot pay anything for this.

So the question is:
– do you have any songs that I can use
– do you know of a site that maybe features “free” music (ym/psg)
(or where I may contact people to allow me to use their music)

Mmmh, I know you can “licence” music here:

He provided various music for many platforms, I guess non-exclusive music are for free on CPC (and thus, AY).

You can also ask for original music on the CPCwiki forum, or maybe n msx.org?
