This demo shows how to make something great and original out of effects already known, thanks to the wonderful design and colors by Beb from Overlanders. Also check the last part featuring a very technical and impressive software effect.

| The Midline Process |
Code, Music :
Targhan
Gfx : Grim
Release date : November 2004. Platform
: CPC Old, 128k. Compatible CPC+, Emulators
|
|
| This two-sided demo is quite unique. It's the first
time on CPC that a 3D world is displayed this way ! Everything is
precalculated, but the main feature is the data streaming from the
floppy disc ! This technic will allow new possibilities in our next
productions. The film is 5 mns long, with a nice intro (featuring
Ark-OS :), an end part, all this powered with STarKos song. Enjoy
!
Note : It is strongly recommended to use WriteDSK (see the Tools
section), or CPDWRITE to transfert the DSKs to floppy disks. DSKCPC
from Divine Coding will NOT work, due to the size 3 format it doesn't
recognize.

| Garcimore Aime Les Balls |
Code : Ramlaid
Gfx : Balls by Beb (Overlanders). Other
gfxs by Ramlaid
Music : Scavenger (transfert from Atari ST).
Release date : September 2004. Platform
: CPC Old, 128k. Compatible CPC+, Emulators
|
|
World record on CPC ! 20 masked 16*16 balls moving
along with a scroller and a music. The balls record contest started
unofficially at the Bordelik Meeting 5, but Ramlaid began (and finished)
his code at the Amstrad Expo 2004. For more information about the
contest, read the scroll. There are currently no 'official' rules,
so a lot of tricks are still allowed. Anyway, try to beat this !

| DemoIzFart |
Code : Targhan, Grim
Gfx : Targhan
Music : Grim
Release date : April 2004. Platform
: CPC Old, 128k. Compatible CPC+, Emulators
|
|
THIS IS JUST A JOKE ! The contest of the Amstrad
Expo '04 was 'April's fool'. So we used this as a pretext to make
a joke about the 'DemoIzArt' megademo (which is not a joke !) we've
been working on for 8 years... We won the prize ! This 'megademo'
consists of an intro, a main menu and 3 parts ! Of course all was
made for them to be complete crap. Targhan drew most of the gfxs,
and Grim wrote the songs !! You've never heard anything like that
before !

| The Ze Meeting 2003 Megademo
|
Linkage, Intro/Menu/Cheat/Log code
: Targhan
Gfx : Barjack (Futur's)
Release date : March 2004. Platform
: CPC Old, 128k. Compatible CPC+, Emulators
|
|
This megademo contains parts especially done
for the Ze Meeting 03 competition. One year later, I decided to
link the whole as no-one seemed willing to do it. As Barjack was
over-inspired we did a lot more than expected, but it looks really
nice, and the cheat part and logs are really funny.

| Not Dead Demo |
Code : Rainbird
Gfx : Rainbird, original gfx by Luis Royo
Music : Frequency (System D)
Release date : May 2000. Platform
: CPC Old, 128k. Compatible CPC+, Emulators
|
|
This is the last demo by Rainbird ! It was intended
to mark his return after more than a year of silence. Sadly, he
never released anything else. Anyway, it's a nice little demo with
a beautiful design, even if the effects aren't original. Try the
function keys to change the CRTC adaptation, this will allow you
to see the split-border scrolling !

| Camenbert Meeting 4 Demo |
Code : Ramlaid
Gfx : Beb (Overlanders)
Music : Madmax (Tex/Atari ST)
Release date : February 2000. Platform
: CPC Old, 128k. Compatible CPC+, Emulators
|
|
It's a very technical demo (featuring vertical
screen-splitting) by Ramlaid, especially done for the Camenbert
Meeting 4 (even though it was released one year later). The nice
design is done by Beb, and you can hear a song from Madmax, using
the first version of Ramlaid's AYC player.

| Pif Paf Pouet Boum
- Byte '99 contest |
Code : Ramlaid, Targhan
Gfx : Targhan, Ramlaid
Music : Targhan (based on 'Carioca' by Les Nuls)
Release date : 1999. Platform
: CPC Old, 128k. Compatible CPC+, Emulators
|
|
This is not really a demo, just a short production
made entierely at the Byte'99 meeting, where we had to create something
(demo, music, gfx...) based on a theme chosen randomly... which
happened to be 'Pif Paf Pouet Boum'. Not an easy task ! I teamed
with Ramlaid and we coded and drawn all this in a night. We had
a disc crash and Madram helped us a lot to recover the whole and
present it five (!) hours after the deadline. We won a NeoGeo Pocket
! It was a lot of fun.

A demo in three parts, including some news effects,
and some more raw and violent ones :). Due to some technical problems
during the making of, it won't work very well on some CRTCs. Sorry
for this !

A four part demo, the last real cooperative

music, this demo is a very good memory, even though it was released
five months after Christmas :).

A great production from Epsilon, and also his

part with a collection of 66 music (record) !!

A little demo to make publicity about the incoming

!

| Dangerous |
| Code, Gfx, Music : Starman
Release date : August 1995. Platform
: CPC Old, 128k. Compatible CPC+, Emulators
|
|
The first and last demo from Starman. This not
really a demo in fact, just some kind of 'effects' over strange
designs and music. A lot of effects weren't included in this demo,
but everyone needs to begin somewhere. Too bad that in the case
of Starman, it also ended here ! It was really strangely coded,
the main part won't load from the introduction. Use the special
launcher to see it.

| Bordelik Meeting 3 Demo |
Code : Rainbird, Ramlaid, Orphee
Gfx : Rainbird
Music : Targhan, Kangaroo
Release date : 1994. Platform
: CPC Old, 128k. Compatible CPC+, Emulators
|
|
Well, this one is a bit special, because it marks
the Arkos' birth. Yes, it is our first real production, and the
first we signed Arkos. It is a terrific demo, with cool effects,
beautiful gfx and marvellous tunes. I think some of you know Criminal
well now, or the crazy "Au clair de la lune" remix by
Targhan. And the texts are funny, especially for the people who
were at the party.

Gfx : Rsx (Addams Fanz), Rainbird
Music : Madmax (Tex/ST), Targhan
Release date : 1994. Platform

This is the first participation of the DMK Team
in a demo. Even if there's no part from us, there was some gfxs,
a music from us, and of course we wrote some memorial texts in this
funny demo.
